Lobuje Peak

Laurence Nielson and Ang Gyalzen Sherpa made the first recorded ascent to Lobuje East on 25 April 1984. The mountain consists of two summits, East and West with heights of 6,119 m and 6,145 m respectively. A continuous ridge connects them but there is still a sharp gap and a considerable distance between them. This Peak is recognized as a trekking peak, whereas the West is known as an Expedition Peak. The East face rises over the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier to a spectacular skyline, forming the south ridge

    There are three itinerary options for Island Peak Mountaineering Instruction Course.
    A. Self acclimatizing, and joining the course in the mountain village Zongala to Zongala . (6 days)
    B. Guided trip from Kathmandu Kathmandu. (23 days)
    C. Guided trip from Kathmandu- Kathmandu climbing both Island Peak and Lobuje Peak (28 days)

    OPTION1: Zongala to Zongala cost $ 950

    Details Itinerary what we cover on 6 Days

    Day1: Interdiction, fixing gear and some rope work (knot practice)

    Day2: Abseiling and jummering on rock and demonstration about crevasse rescue.

    Day3: Training about walking in glacier and snow with crampons and main rope, and practice crevasse rescue and self rescue top rope Ice climbing and belay technique

    Day4: Pack your gear and after lunch move to base camp.

    Day5: Summit and back to base camp.

    Day6: Extra floating day for the weather or health.

    For Climbing the Cost includes, Climbing Permit, all meal hot and cold drink , All Camping, Kitchen and all Climbing Equipments, Climbing instructor, Sherpa, Yak (Porter) and Kitchen Team. Only Climbing Boot extra that you can hire at Namche and chukung also that will cost $ 10 per day Max .

    OTPION2: Zongala to Zongala cost $ 750.

    Day1: Arrive Zongala around after 2 pm and join our Climbing Group and Climbing crew , check all climbing Equipment , we will provide you Tea , coffee , Snacks and dinner 7 PM rest .

    Day2: Pack your gear and after lunch move to base camp.

    Day3: Summit Island peak 6160 M and back to chukung .

    Day4: Extra floating day for the weather or health.
